What to do if you find a stray?

If you find a stray animal please insure you confine the animal if it is safe to do so (Ex. putting the dog or cat in your garage or house). Check for any forms of identification on the animal (Ex. Collars, tags, or tattoos in the ear) if you can find any phone numbers try to contact the animal owner if this doesn’t work try contacting your neighbors and check if they’re missing any of they’re furry friends. If you still can’t find the owner feel free to contact us and we’ll try and help you the best we can.

If you live in a rural area you may see Great Pyrenees dogs wandering, this is quite common and they are just doing their job patrolling their home property for predators and protecting their livestock. If you see one it is best to let them do they’re job.

For areas without a cat bylaw we are not obligated to pick up any cats however, we may take in rescue cats if space permits.

What to do if you have a complaint?

If you have a barking complaint or other dog/cat-related complaint please contact us and we are be happy to help you resolve the issue. please send us an email at omk.kennels@gmail.com.
