Dogs new at the shelter & available for Adoption

When you adopt a Dog

You help break the cycle of pet overpopulation and provide a home for a pet.

There are not enough homes for all the animals that are born every year. Adopting from a shelter helps weaken the pet overpopulation cycle. Each year 8 to 12 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are euthanized because there are simply not enough homes for them.

Spay and neuter your pets. Shelters struggle to keep up.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered and are up to date on all their vaccines when they’re adopted. As a part of the adoption fee, you will also receive a personalized dog tag from us and a bag of dog food courtesy of Pet Value in Ponoka.

Once the dog is adopted the new owner is responsible for vet-related matters including booster shots.

Adoption Fees:

~ Adults: $425.00

~ Seniors (8+): $225.00

~ Puppies: $575.00

~ Pure Bred Adults: $525.00

How to Adopt

If you are interested in an animal in our care it’s best to give us a call at 403-704-6369. You will be able to talk to our friendly staff who are happy to tell you all we know of the animal in care. If the animal is ready for visitors then you are welcome to stop by. It’s best to make an appointment so we have all the time to help you. If you are looking to add another dog to your family then please bring your other dogs along for a meet and greet.

~ We only adopt to families that can meet our animals in person at the shelter.

~ We do NOT adopt to strictly outdoor homes. We are looking for families that make our “animals” part of the family.
