Update on the grey kitten that was thrown out of a truck in Bashaw on May 14th. This friendly cat has been dealing with an upset stomach the day she came into our care.

She was seen by our vet and received the medication to help with her sore stomach.

On Tuesday, her belly was starting to show, and we realized that our 5-6 months old kitten was pregnant. Of course, we stopped the medication, and today she gave birth to one premature kitten, a precious little bundle of joy. Sterling is over the moon with this kitten, and I sure hope the kitten will survive.

Fingers crossed, and we will keep you all posted.

Yes, kittens are having kittens. It’s so important to spay and neuter your cats. They can get pregnant as early as 4 months; it’s not common, but it is possible, so let’s all do our part.
