An update on the emaciated pitbull that came into our care last week. She’s slowly starting to gain weight. She’s very affectionate around people but scared and skittish during walks. She hasn’t seen many things yet. I wonder what kind of life she had before she came into our care. We certainly enjoy her kind and affectionate nature.

She needs to gain weight before we send her to the vet to be spayed.

We have not introduced her to other dogs at the shelter yet.

So not sure how she is around them.
